the skinny of it!

okay so- confession: over the last few months ive become so self conscious to the point where its effecting everyone. it effects my relationship with my boyfriend [ ive become slightly jealous of other girls, because i dont feel as good about myself]. it effects the clothes i wear [ i feel fat or whetever so i wear baggy sweats more often]. it basically just effects everything. so im fighting back.

ive decided to diet and exercise. i want to lose weight the RIGHT way. i dont want to starve myself or anything i just really want to get back to where i was when i was happy with myself.

current body info:

height: 5'7"ish.
weight: 140lbs.
weight i want to be: 125lbs.

i have a ways to go! thats 15lbs. so i started my little diet monday. that makes today day 2.

heres my game plan:
-i write down everything i ate- not so much the calories unless its something thats like really high calories so i can kinda keep an eye my calorie and fat intake. and then i take notes on my activeness or lack there of at the end of the day.
-when i crave junk food or snacky things i will a) only take what the serving size is or b) i will eat the 100 calorie pack[they pretty much make all my fav snack in 100 cal packs now-so cool].
-im joining a gym this weekend and i plan on going at least 3 times a week, preferably 4 times [but im just trying to be realistic lol] on days that i dont go to the gym im going to do a 30 minute work out at home.


new year, new me, how cheesey, but true. i have to do something for myself is this is going to be it. im tired of sitting back and complaining about my weight and my body. i want to just be 18 and happy again!

so ive been finding some pretty great deals at my local mandee. a ten dollar prep school style blazer [that i get millions of compliments on every time i wear it]. so when i popped in there last friday i was hoping to find something trendy and cheap! and...i did. i decided to buy a few clearance jewelry items.

exciting info about my music.

okay so im sorta a musician if you didnt know. i write songs, and sing, i also play a little guitar. so i have a video up on youtube if you haven seen it. its a video of my boyfriend dan and i working together on writing a song. heres the link : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kbxQ9UQEuUw. so dan and i decided that we work well together and we are putting together a band/group/whatever you call two people who play music. we want to make a youtube channel for our band but couldnt think of a name so we left it up to you guys. we came up with 3 names and my viewers will be the ones who decide which name we will go by. heres the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TuOmWT4zgrs&feature=channel_page.

so today was my first day back to school =( bummer. yeah i was so tired but i was a good girl and i got up on time which never happens. on time by the way is at 6 am. the whole like 2 weeks that i was off i woke up at like 10 am everyday, ate breakfast, showered, dressed, and took a ridiculously long time to do my makeup. so i was like what am i going to do when i dont have an hour to do my makeup every morning?! anyway i gave myself extra time and i was still late which my boyfriend was not surprised about lol. and i did something very different, i used yellow, orange, and black coloured eyeshadows on my lids. it sounds very halloween, but it didnt look too crazy, you know me blend blend blend it out. i felt pretty dangerous and confident in it, but still think that i should stick to my neutrals and browns for daily looks. but maybe once and awhile i will switch it up with something funky.

so my cherry culture package came in the mail on saturday. but my other two have not come in yet, im disappointed because i did think they would be in today. i keep checking the door to see if like ups dropped them off, but i got nothing. once everything gets here ill have a nice collective haul for you all. thats really why i havent made any videos since my new years resolutions video because im still waiting for all my online goodness.

well i should probably starting writing my sociology paper =( talk to you all later!

so its january 2...how are you all feeling about 2009 so far? 09' hasnt actually started out so well for me [an uneventful new years eve, and a little drama with the boyfriend] but im still optimistic about the good things it can bring.

right now im anxiously awaiting three packages, hopefully they will all come in by tomorrow so i can do one big haul video, but im not sure when they will be in. ive been waiting for them patiently but i really cant take take it anymore, i like my instant gratification. can you tell?


so anyway i did go to the mall today for a few hours. i had to return some stuff my mom got me that didnt fit. i didnt find anything in charlotte russe that i wanted to exchange it for so i just got a refund. i told my self "laurient no makeup, none, at all, you need clothes, or a least a cute top." well as i usually do, i defied myself and headed for sephora. i only got one thing cause my refund came out to be like 27 dollars, and in sephora that doesnt get you too far. now i wanted to wait to show everyone in my haul video but i realized i hadnt posted anything on my blog for a few days, so blog readers youll be the first to know about this purchase.

are you ready for what it is...? okay ill stop now cause its not really all that exciting, well im excited but im a dork. anyway i got NARS' sabrina lip treatment. [pictured below]:

so ive tested it out and i love it. it was a great purchase. very moisturizing, nice hint of pinky nude colour, pretty long lasting, and a watermelon scent. only thing was its a little costly [24 dollars]. i was considering buying striptease lip gloss but everyone says that it smells of plastic and i didnt know if i could handle that, even though its the colour that ive been searching for. maybe next time striptease, but for now ill enjoy my sabrina lip treatment.
