easy like sunday morning.

hey guys, i know i haven't posted in a few days, sorry. the holidays always come with a lot of stress and to-dos. my upcoming vacation just adds even more to that stress. i hate packing for long amounts of time, because i never know what it is i need to bring. i almost always end up bringing too much. anyway im currently filling out my last two college applications, they have a december 1st deadline for early action, way to wait till the last minute Laurient! i cant wait until its all done! im over all of this lol, i have a meeting with 3 colleges this week. the colleges are going to tell me to my face right then and there if i got in or not! omg how scary!!! so yeah anyways im sitting here typing my essays, sipping hot tea with honey, and nibbling on a carrot cake muffin. this would be an ideal morning if it was minus the essay part lol, replace that with reviewing youtube videos. anyway more stuff to come before i leave for vaca on thursday!

my mascaras.

okay so i have a few mascaras. i used to own a lot of different ones, but then i saw the pointlessness of all of them. mascara is like the first product to go bad and the last thing you want to do is use an expired product on your eyes, eeeek!

so here are the few that i have and ill give you the low down on them:

[from left to right: too faced lash injection, l'oreal carbon black voluminous, covergirl lash blast, rimmel glam eyes, & dior show].

lash injection- i absolutely hate this product! i was so disappointed because i love too faced, i think its such a great brand with cute packaging and some really nice products. i will never waste my money on this again. it has a really weird smell, i dont even know how to describe it. its pretty clumpy and i dont find that my lashes look good after i use it. so blahh hate it!

voluminous- this stuff is great for its drug store price. ive talked to a lot of people who are completely satisfied with it. without curling this mascara gives me long sexy lashes and adds volume. its gorgeous and pretty much effortless. so i love it.

lash blast- i love lash blast think everyone does. i used the waterproof one for a while but i noticed that it was seriously taking a toll on my lashes so if i do repurchase this which im sure i will it will be the regular black one. i even turned my mom onto lash blast and she loves it too, it really does do wonders for her and she has the teeny tiniest lashes ive ever seen.

glam eyes- glam lash has a unique wand its not the giant thick ones ive been seeing. its a thin one thats more like a comb. it does work though. the wand is okay for me but its a little too flexible for me. it does make my lashes look pretty good though so i wont complain. i would repurchase this especially because its cheap.

dior show- this might just be my favorite prestige brand mascara. the brush is huge and very densely packed. it grabs every lash and makes them look long full and sexy. i wear this almost every day and im never disappointed. definitely worth the $24 i spent on it. i would repurchase this but sadly i dont think that will be in my budget soon so i might have to stick with my drug store favs.

pink look with flirt cosmetics.

i almost never wear pink eyeshadow! i own a few little drug store brand palettes in different shades of pink,but really they just sit there. so when tabbyc001 requested this look i was like okay, but i didnt think id like the way it came out. i ended up loving it! it was fun and pretty, i would wear this a party or something.

i.d. bare mineral glimmers.

so ive had these babies for a little while and i love them! they have so many gorgeous colors to choose from i want to have them all one day [i sound like pokemon. gotta catch em' all].

so this is a little pro/con list about the product.[ i do this all the time in my life]-

pros:

-gorgeous colors.

-beautiful finishes.

-they feel very smooth on the lid.

cons:

-not very long lasting [without a good base].

-some fallout.

-the sifter in the container lets up too much product.

okay so there it is!!! and here are the swatches of the two colors i have:

so if i love these so much why is that i never reach for them? is because of all the things on my cons list? i dont really know. but now that i have my FIX + i can apply them wet so there isnt fallout plus color lasts a little longer and has a very gorgeous metallic finish!

Ustream? AIM? what do you think?

Hey all, so ive been thinking...i feel like i make these videos and i have all these amazing people that sit and take time to subscribe, watch, and write super nice comments on my videos, but i dont really know you guys and, i want to. see heres the deal and let me know what you think.

1) In my next 5 things about me video (whenever that comes out) im going to ask everyone who wants to participate to make a response video telling me 5 things about yourselves. it wont be like a contest, but just so i know a little something about all of you lovely people that watch my videos.

2) I also want to get more live video chats with you guys. ive done one live ustream before, but i didnt have as much support then so it was lacking, but i still had fun with the people that did join the chat.=). now if a lot of you guys joined the ustream....we would have a makeup gossip party! haha. i would probably only be able to do a live ustream like maybe twice a month. i would love to do one like once a week but its not realistic. my computer is downstairs in the middle of everything and im rarely home alone so it would be hard for me to concentrate on you all. so i would try to do one twice a month. let me know what you think.

Last idea, i promise!

3) Okay so i was thinking another way to communicate with you all is to set up an AIM account. this would be easier. so no one has to hear my family going about their daily activities. also its private so if you have any questions that you dont want anyone to see, it can be between you and i. and i would log on more frequently to fill the gaps between ustream sessions. let me know what you all think once again. =)

first CCO haul!

So today I went to a new outlet mall that opened not to far from me! I wasn't expecting anything much, but then I spotted a CCO and I almost passed out =). So I went in and my mom treated me to some MAC goodies since I've been under a lot of college stress.

So I got:

(clockwise) Neo Sci-fi eyeshadow in time & space, Fix +, msf in warmed, beauty powder blush in shy beauty, dazzelglass in rags to riches.

So I'm in love with the CCO and all the stuff I got. Here is a closer look:

At the ALDO store I also got this super cute bag! its brighter in the picture than it really is but still gorgeous either way! $45 cant really beat that.
